Welcome, my problem "was" which insurance was best as an all round policy ie, If touch wood it does'nt, what will I do if my cheeky little Westie became ill, all I wanted to do 1 month ago was buy a policy but soon I become bogged down with so much palarva so did some homework and with the aid of a veterinary friend of mine decided on the purchase of a Petplan policy. If you agree or think different please leave your comments.
The reason being is Medivet who operate across the UK accept the plans who themselves run an expensive ship however, they are a well structured veterinary practice and can also send where necessary their own in-house ambulance.
Apart from that I also learnt that Petplan cover many more of the nigglies that in some cases are individual requirements to an animal also, their payout speed is praised by not only Medivet but others too so not to be too blunt but the treatments are more forthcoming, like being a private or NHS patient I suppose.
I wanted to share my Petplan experience of which I have just bugged my dad to buy again, if you agree or think different leave your comments for all of us. Maybe im wrong lets hope not.
Thanks for reading hope this helps you in making your decision.
